U.S. Trade Deficit Swells To $42.3 Billion In February

Washington (AFP) — The U.S. trade deficit increased sharply in February as imports rose and exports fell, the Commerce Department reported Thursday.

The nation’s trade gap in goods and services with the rest of the world widened to $42.3 billion, an increase of 7.7 percent from January, according to seasonally adjusted data.
